“Ego”
Drop that ego
Just let it go
Let go of that self-proclaimed Christian-like hero
How can you expect to walk, and learn, and grow
When you can’t be told because you think you know
How God’s judgment day will flow
“Judge not lest ye be judged” Mt 7:1
Remember only the good seed you sow
Will take root and grow
The bad will choke, wither, and negate the intentions of which you’ve sown
The light has dimmed on your ego crowned halo
Your demeanor of “sitting high and looking low”
Has overshadowed your glow
“Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify the Father who is in Heaven” Mt 5:16
Drop that ego
Just let it go
